The song's original version is about another female pop star who Charli has been compared to. Some fans believed she was singing about Lorde because the two have often been pitted against each other.
Well, the ladies decided to set the internet ablaze with the announcement of the remix featuring Lorde herself.

I really love the song. It's an epic way to settle the dust, so to speak. The moment when they both sing they ride for each other feels like everything has come full circle. I remember Charli recently talking about feeling jealous of Lorde after the success of “Royals.” She even revealed that she almost dressed up as her for Halloween one year. Eek!
